FAQ

App Grid stays on a loading spinner?

Update to TagLauncher 7.9.1 or later. If it still happens, quit TagLauncher completely, reopen it, and check layout backups in Settings > Data.

How do I back up categories and layouts?

Open Settings > Data > Export Categories & Layout, save the JSON file, then use Import to restore it on another Mac.

Can one app belong to multiple tags?

Yes. This is a main difference between TagLauncher and Launchpad folders.

Does TagLauncher upload data to the cloud?

No. Categories, tags, order, and notes stay on your Mac.
