Summary

TagLauncher is a utility for organizing and launching applications on your Mac. The current version (7.8.x) works locally on your device and does not collect personal data or send your launcher data to our servers.

What data stays on your Mac

• Your preferences (hotkeys, appearance, language, Dock settings, and similar options).
• Your tag names, colors, order, and associations between apps and tags.
• Per-app notes you choose to write in TagLauncher.
• Exported backup files you create manually (JSON) and store where you decide.

What TagLauncher does locally

• Scans standard application folders on your Mac to build a searchable app index.
• Opens applications you select using macOS APIs.
• May download localized help PDFs from our public GitHub Releases when you tap “Help” (network request to GitHub only for that file).

What we do not do in the current build

• No user accounts or sign-in.
• No analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs.
• No crash reporting or third-party telemetry SDKs bundled in the app.
• No sale of personal data.

Children

TagLauncher is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes

We may update this policy when the app or legal requirements change. The effective date at the top will be revised accordingly.
